Pilates
Pilates is an exercise system focused on improving flexibility and strength for the total body without building bulk. It is a series of controlled movements engaging the body and mind, which encourages you to experience a new awareness of muscle function and control. Pilates is suitable for people of all ages and regardless of your fitness level can be your primary mode of body conditioning and injury prevention.
Pilates is generally run as a ten week course and booking is required. Cost ?60
Pilates for Beginners.
Monday 6.00pm - 7.00pm
Tuesday 8.00pm - 9.00pm
Wednesday 7.00pm - 8.00pm
An introductory level for people with little or no experience of Pilates. It teaches the principles and basics of the movement technique, gradually progressing mobilty, strength & flexibility.
Non slip pilates mats are now available at the leisure reception for the exceptionally low price of ?12!

Good for you snack - Yoghurt
Yoghurt is a very versatile food and a healthy snack. It can be enjoyed on its own, used as a fruit dip or mixed as a sauce or dressing. Not only does this creamy snack provide protein, calcium and potassium; it also contains probiotics. Studies have shown that probiotics improve gastro-intestinal health. Therefore, look for these bacterias on the ingredient list. Try to avoid yoghurt that say "heat-treated after culturing" on the label. |
